1. Introduction
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the Texit web application (the "Tool").
2. Zero Data Collection
Unlike traditional web services, Texit runs entirely inside your local web browser. We believe in complete transparency and data ownership:
- No Server Uploads: All file reading, text compiling, color selections, and data formatting are performed locally using client-side JavaScript APIs. No images or text inputs are ever sent, uploaded, or transmitted to an external server.
- No Personal Information: We do not ask for, collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII), browser logs, user tracking information, or metadata.
- No Cookies or Tracking: The Tool does not use tracking cookies, analytics tags, web beacons, or third-party monitoring scripts.
3. Data Storage
The Tool may utilize standard browser storage APIs (such as `localStorage` or `sessionStorage`) to remember your layout preferences, custom configurations, or document states locally on your device. This data remains on your physical hardware, is accessible only to your browser, and can be cleared at any time by wiping your browser history or clearing site data.
4. Third-Party CDNs
The Tool loads standard libraries (such as fonts and vector icons) from public Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to display UI components. When your browser requests these resources, the CDN provider may receive your IP address and standard browser user-agent details in accordance with their respective security and caching logs. No document data or parsed contents are ever shared with these networks.
5. Compliance and App Stores
This policy is designed to fulfill compliance requirements for App Stores, project directory submissions, and privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA) governing standalone browser utilities that do not process personal data.
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Because we do not store emails or accounts, we encourage you to review this page periodically for updates.
7. Contact
